Illustrations for a Critical Campaign
Working closely with Playing Field, I created illustrations and storyboards for WWF’s animated 2024 Living Planet Report, transforming complex ecological ideas into an accessible visual story about the future of wildlife and people.
Storyboarding Tipping Points
I created a sequence of visual storyboards exploring 'tipping points' as a visual metaphor. This idea shaped the narrative, with illustrations rotating, shifting and falling out of balance as planetary boundaries are pushed.
Bringing it to life
I developed illustrated characters, wildlife and environments designed for animation, making complex ecological ideas feel accessible and impactful. Playing Field then animated the illustrations and edited them into the final film for WWF.
The Impact
The animation formed a key part of the launch campaign for WWF’s 2024 Living Planet Report and has received more than 19,000 views on YouTube, helping its urgent message reach a wider audience.
